Maybe should look for other Floris variants. Not sure if I will keep going with PoP, combat is what it's all about for me. What I'm sorely missing, though, is New Dawn's/Floris' improved combat commandsĪnd big battlefields: You can only type in two or three basic commands before the enemy comes rushing in. Combat is not too easy, nice troop variety and many little things to discover it seems. Joined Ravenhorst as vasal and aided in the war against Fvrid-something. Have been grinding out a Ravehorst warband out of mountain bandits, got luckky and caught a pack with mid/high lvl prisoners which are greatly improving my troops. Annoying, but nowhere near gamebreaking, and easily fixable by a restart. The biggest bug that I've had is that after leaving a tavern, sometimes the audio will keep on playing the tavern soundtrack. In the 300 odd hours I've spent in PoP (not all of it online, therefore not logged) I've had it crash maybe a total of twice. Pendor, in my opinion, is also the most well-balanced and polished mod out of them all on the Workshop. Each faction has unique specialties that can contribute greatly to your party's overall strength, along with some minor factions that have really good unique units as well.

In Pendor, I'm usually still grinding bandit parties at day 60.

Nothing against Perisno, but it's stupid easy to become overpowered. However, in Perisno, I had a castle within 60 something days when I started as a Giant and went full Strength and Ironflesh. Both are excellent mods, so I suggest that you give them both a go eventually.
